The center serves as a hub of expertise for the community, drawing on the university's extensive pool of distinguished professionals with vast theoretical and practical experience, supported by the various capabilities and facilities available at the university.

Actively contributing to scientific development and producing creative research, and providing expertise and advice in various scientific and development fields to serve the local, regional and global community through distinguished research and consulting work.
The university's research and consulting center aims to achieve the following goals:
1. Collecting the capabilities of existing scientific research at the university, organizing and pushing it to study important topics in various fields.
2. Establishing fixed and systems rules at the university for scientific research and service to community issues.
3. Conducting research, consultations and courses requested by the community.
4. Strengthening scientific ties and connections with scientific research centers at home and abroad.
5. Providing research and consulting to various government and private sectors, and developing the production rate through research studies and consulting services.
6. Developing a general plan for academic research in various fields that serve the symptoms and requirements of economic and social development in cooperation and coordination with other bodies based on scientific research affairs.
7. Contacting public and private entities to know about the problems they face and wish to find proper solutions to them.
8. Collecting and classifying research and technical studies that conducted on the country’s various development sectors.
9. Conducting research and studies in various fields of science to serve the general trends of society, as well as conducting applied research and experiments.
10. Publishing the findings of research and studies conducted by the Center and issuing academic journals.
11. Cooperating with similar bodies in studying the problems facing development areas in the country and finding appropriate solutions to them.
12. Holding scientific conferences, courses, and seminars, and contacting Arab and international related bodies to the center’s activity.
13. Providing expertise and consulting work in various fields to authorities that required it.

Elmergib University has a wide base of experts, consultants, and technicians across various fields of scientific knowledge that the center can rely on to carry out its tasks, which include:

2. Technical and academic consultations in all applied and human sciences, as well as in all disciplines related to the activities of the university's faculties.
